"The witness of the Frontiers workers is a source of inspiration and encouragement.

"If you really want to learn to lean on God and see His mighty power displayed across cultural barriers while having a ridiculous amount of fun, you should probably sign up [for a short-term trip]!"
"God is proving to be the constant that He is in the world. It is encouraging to hear how He is moving in the Muslim world."

"The exposure you get through short-term service is incredible. To throw oneself into a world ignorantly is sometimes the wisest thing you can do."
"As donors, we are excited by the strategic impact Frontiers is having in fulfilling the Great Commission among Muslims, and we want a greater sense of ownership."
"Frontiers' ministry to people that live in 'closed' countries excites me! Knowing that they have NGOs [nonprofits] trained and dedicated to reach these people makes Frontiers quite valuable."
- a Frontiers financial partner
"Because Frontiers has a proven track record of engaging the Muslim world with integrity and evangelical effectiveness, we are joyous partners in prayer and sharing of finances."
"Frontiers has our enthusiastic support (prayer and finances) for taking the Good News to Muslims. We are so thankful for the many God is calling to go and who are saying, 'Yes!'"
The Seraiki People Group

The People

Generally considered part of the Punjabi people cluster, the Seraiki people of Pakistan may be the largest of the 50 unengaged people groups.

The Seraiki live primarily in a region that spans (west to east) from the Indus River in Northeast Pakistan to Delhi, India.

Seraiki land has always been very fertile, producing much of Pakistan’s wheat and cotton.  However, little money has been reinvested, resulting in impoverishment and underdevelopment.

As a group, they are possibly the most humble and hospitable people in the world.

With a population of around 18 million (roughly that of New York State), the Seraiki defy simple generalizations … consider the question, “What is life like for people living in New York?”

Some are very poor and others, very wealthy.  They include farmers, domestics, doctors, politicians and so on.

Interestingly, Yousaf Raza Gilani, Pakistan’s Prime Minister as of March, 2008, is Seraiki. He has initiated several projects to uplift the Seraiki agricultural areas, particularly in and around Multan, the region’s unofficial capital.

Think of a populous of the size of New York with absolutely no access to the Good News of Jesus, where the major cities are 100% Muslim, though not all are devout.
