Under the stars on a warm African night, Frontiers’ team leader, "Daniel," baptized "Bashar" and his twin brother, "Wahlid" … along with twelve other Muslim-born believers (MBBs) who had heard the gospel through Daniel and Bashar.
These new believers were the latest addition to the growing number of MBBs in an African nation, where annual income is less than $800 per person, life expectancy is less than 54 years, and most rural people are illiterate.
Even so, good news has a way of spreading.
Now, response to a new initiative, called the Servant Project, promises to not only continue, but grow this fruitful work.
Through the Servant Project, Daniel’s team is adding responsible community development programs to their consistent proclamation of the gospel, literature distribution and sacrificial witness.
As a result, dependence, ignorance and sickness are being replaced by self-sufficiency, literacy, health, and hope in the true Source of all Hope.
Some time after Daniel baptized Bashar and Wahlid, Bashar's uncle told Daniel, "Just be patient; in time all of our village will follow the Jesus road."
You can help that time to come sooner.
