When Christians move to the Muslim world to share their hope in Jesus, they face significant, unique challenges. They depend on the strong safety net created as the sending church and Frontiers come together with their unique gifts and capabilities. Together we can provide care worthy of those who bring the message of the Gospel to some of the hardest places in the world.
Frontiers founder Greg Livingstone often says, “Frontiers doesn’t send workers, churches do.” From early in the worker application process, the sending church provides crucial affirmation based on years of experience with the applicant, watching their walk, character, ministry, and calling. And the home church is uniquely resourced to provide constant encouragement and support to their workers, committed prayer support, hospitality when they come home, biblical counsel, etc. The local church is the worker’s lifeline.
Frontiers is also uniquely equipped to contribute to the care of the worker. We have over 25 years of experience working in the Muslim world. Our Member Care team workers have themselves served in the Muslim world. They’ve experienced many of the challenges your workers will face overseas, such as culture shock, loneliness, language learning difficulties, team conflict, children’s adjustment, and stress on marriages.
So God has prepared the sending church and Frontiers with complimentary resources and experience to provide maximum care for workers overseas. We are eager to team with you as you send workers and sustain them for years of joyful and fruitful ministry.
