"If you really want to learn to lean on God and see His mighty power displayed across cultural barriers while having a ridiculous amount of fun, you should probably sign up [for a short-term trip]!"
"God is proving to be the constant that He is in the world. It is encouraging to hear how He is moving in the Muslim world."
- a Frontiers financial partner
"The exposure you get through short-term service is incredible. To throw oneself into a world ignorantly is sometimes the wisest thing you can do."
"As donors, we are excited by the strategic impact Frontiers is having in fulfilling the Great Commission among Muslims, and we want a greater sense of ownership."
"Frontiers' ministry to people that live in 'closed' countries excites me! Knowing that they have NGOs [nonprofits] trained and dedicated to reach these people makes Frontiers quite valuable."
- a Frontiers financial partner
"Because Frontiers has a proven track record of engaging the Muslim world with integrity and evangelical effectiveness, we are joyous partners in prayer and sharing of finances."
"Frontiers has our enthusiastic support (prayer and finances) for taking the Good News to Muslims. We are so thankful for the many God is calling to go and who are saying, 'Yes!'"

Member Care Events

Frontiers offers several events in the U.S. and overseas to sustain and enrich our workers and the people who send them.

  • Member Care Training — Training and networking opportunities for senders are offered through our Member Care Symposium, a U.S.-based training event that equips pastors and counselors to make more effective field visits on behalf of their teams in the Muslim world.Member Care
  • Team Building — Frontiers Member Care Team provides a variety of exercises and resources to promote mutual understanding, additional personal insights and improved team relationships. Field workers are encouraged to take advantage of these tools for enhancing team effectiveness.
  • Peacemaking Coaching and Training — Member Care provides coaching and training for teams that want to prepare well for inevitable conflicts that will arise within teams. Trainees learn to resolve disagreements biblically and communicate effectively, and the training is also offered to their sending churches.
  • Sharpening Your Interpersonal Skills — A five-day workshop that equips Frontiers workers and teams to grow in their personal and corporate relationships.
  • Oasis – A one-week debriefing and renewal retreat in Arizona designed to encourage and restore workers who are visiting the U.S. or find themselves transitioning between teams. Singles, couples, and children participate in age-appropriate programs to help them process overseas experiences.
  • Child Safety — Member Care staff provide mandatory, ongoing training in Child Safety, which prepares all sending base and field workers to recognize and report child safety issues. Frontiers’ Child Safety Policy backs this training, developed in partnership with the Child Safety Network and reviewed annually by all members of the organization.
  • Kids Kamp – Equips children and youth in Frontiers families with tools to survive and thrive in new cultures overseas.
  • Regional and movement-wide conferences.
  • Singles retreats.
