"The witness of the Frontiers workers is a source of inspiration and encouragement.
- a Frontiers financial partner"
"If you really want to learn to lean on God and see His mighty power displayed across cultural barriers while having a ridiculous amount of fun, you should probably sign up [for a short-term trip]!"
"God is proving to be the constant that He is in the world. It is encouraging to hear how He is moving in the Muslim world."
- a Frontiers financial partner
"The exposure you get through short-term service is incredible. To throw oneself into a world ignorantly is sometimes the wisest thing you can do."
"As donors, we are excited by the strategic impact Frontiers is having in fulfilling the Great Commission among Muslims, and we want a greater sense of ownership."
"Frontiers' ministry to people that live in 'closed' countries excites me! Knowing that they have NGOs [nonprofits] trained and dedicated to reach these people makes Frontiers quite valuable."
- a Frontiers financial partner
"Because Frontiers has a proven track record of engaging the Muslim world with integrity and evangelical effectiveness, we are joyous partners in prayer and sharing of finances."
"Frontiers has our enthusiastic support (prayer and finances) for taking the Good News to Muslims. We are so thankful for the many God is calling to go and who are saying, 'Yes!'"

Prefield Learning

Frontiers’ Field Prep Department provides training events, internships, and e-learning to prepare you for the rigors of team and overseas life.

1. Candidate School – An intensive, 12-day training event, offered three times annually in Arizona, recommended to everyone intending to serve overseas with Frontiers for at least two years. The School teaches Frontiers’ vision and values and provides practical resources for team life.

Learn more about Candidate School.

2. Languaculture – We’ve found from experience that language learning and culture learning go hand-in-hand, so we combine them in our training. This is offered in three venues.

  1. An Introduction to Languaculture at our weekend 247 To Go Workshops held around the U.S.
  2. A three-hour Languaculture session at Candidate School
  3. A four-day workshop that equips future field workers with the tools they will need to understand and begin speaking a foreign language overseas, even locations where there are no language schools available.

3. Webinars – We offer regular webinars on sharing Jesus with Muslim friends. Look for them on our calendar and in Frontrunner e-newsletters. Sign up for FrontRunner, a free monthly enewsletter for those preparing to or open to serving God overseas in the Muslim world.

4. Training Coordinators – We are partnering with internships throughout the U.S. to offer mentoring and experience with ministries to Muslims, to better equip you for life overseas.

5. E-Learning - E-Learning resources are offered throughout the year to those who complete a Frontiers Journey form. We provide webinar recordings, online videos, mp3 audio files, and PDF articles covering topics such as spiritual warfare, team life and prayer. If you have completed the Journey, click here to request access the prefield E-Learning website.
