Statistics indicate that there are over 100 million Muslims living in India. That population is larger than the number of Muslims living in Iran, Iraq, Saudi Arabia and Afghanistan combined. But within that huge numbers of people are stories of women and children, both rich and poor, which often go without consideration.
Because photography of Muslim women and children by male photographers is often a cultural taboo, such candid images are seldom seen or contemplated. In this album, we invite you to view the sights of the Muslim women and children of North India who have little or no witness of the gospel living in their communities. The photos were taken by a female Frontiers worker from her perspective of living in the country. We also invite you to read more about her life in this region as she attempts to share the gospel with Muslims who have never heard of the love of Jesus.
