If any team, whether part of Frontiers or not, is living and working to share Jesus’ message with a Muslim people group, they are engaged.
Questions that Frontiers asks before determining that a Muslim people group has been engaged include:
In just one region of South Asia, nearly one hundred million Muslims are now living without a witness who is willing to share with them about Jesus’ life, death, and resurrection. They are among the unengaged in several pocket regions of Asia and Africa.

This term, “unreached,” has been adopted by so many people to categorize so many groups that it’s in danger of becoming meaningless. By some definitions, “unreached” describes anyone who has not heard or believed in the good news of Jesus, whether they are living in the U.S. or elsewhere. But Frontiers uses the term differently – to describe people groups in which all of the following are true:
