Our Distinctives

Frontiers is a dynamic community of people from dozens of nations and cultural perspectives held together largely because of Frontiers’ core distinctives:

1. We work only among Muslims – 22.4% of the world’s population or 1.5 billion people.

2. All teams are semi-autonomous – communities made up of individuals, couples, and families who share a common vision for their region with their team leader. Teams have the freedom to adopt whatever strategies needed to establish the Body of Christ in a region.

3. We strive to foster reproducing communities of believers from Muslim cultures – built on the truth of the Bible.

4. We are grace-oriented (as opposed to legalistic) – with others and one another, as God has shown His grace to us.

5. We are field-led – requiring our team leaders to make wise decisions for their own context with wisdom and counsel from others.

6. We are eager for coaching and upgrading – committed to lifelong learning through accountability, counsel, and teaching from others.
