One Frontiers leader described our Core Values as ‘The glue which binds us together, the magnet which attracts others to us and the ruler by which we measure ourselves.’ Look them over and tell us what you think.
We place all our hopes upon Jesus’ power, glory and position as the One to whom God has given all authority over men, principalities, and powers. This transforms our worship, affects our obedience, and humbles us in His service. It leads us on a relentless pursuit of the Person of Jesus.
Apostolic Calling – One is sent by God, receiving His commission through their church, to a place where He is not yet being worshiped.
Community – Encompasses every person in our movement, loving and serving one another by speaking the truth in love and embracing humility.
Frontiers believes God will continue appointing apostles for the building up of the Church, until we all attain unity in the faith (Ephesians 4:11-13). “All” includes every tribe of Muslims still without an apostolic witness sharing Jesus’ plan of redemption.
Frontiers teams are passionate about finishing well - training faithful Muslim-background believers and turning over the work while encouraging them to train others. Team leaders seek coaching from others with more experience; at the same time, they are reproducing themselves by mentoring other Frontiers workers to serve as leaders, so the Kingdom may expand through new teams.
Frontiers equips and supports people who are answering His call to share His message with Muslims. We are eager for coaching and upgrading – particularly in areas that will lead to fruitfulness. Using a variety of web-based and face-to-face training, we seek to learn from our past mistakes in order to press ahead strategically, so more Muslims will share our hope in Christ.
Opening new frontiers to share Jesus’ good news always involves risk and suffering. If you are not daunted by this and, like us, you are unsatisfied with how Jesus is being glorified among one-fifth of the world’s population, then perhaps you have found a new community in Frontiers. Grace Orientation makes it possible for Frontiers workers to exercise all of our Core Values. It helps us see people as God sees them, according to His Word. Because our teams are from such a variety of cultural backgrounds, nations, and churches, members of Frontiers teams often have different worldviews and theological perspectives.
As an organization, Frontiers seeks to be a non-judgmental community that affirms the value of each individual while maintaining unity of focus on common goals. This is only possible because of all members’ commitment to believe and share Jesus with Muslims on the basis of this Statement of Faith.
