The Business As Missions (BAM) workshop is a dynamic, interactive workshop led by Dr. Patrick Lai, a gifted and passionate practitioner, author, and researcher on conducting viable business enterprises as part of overseas ministry. It will draw on Lai's knowledge obtained from over 20 years of operating businesses in unreached regions.

The 2 1/2 day workshop, will give you the practical information you need to serve God on the field long-term with a business strategy. Join others who share your vision at this intensive, interactive training event. 

  During the workshop, you will:

• Learn the key steps to be an effective business as missions worker/tentmaker.
• Explore the theology of work and its value in planting churches.
• Examine the key factors to apply when living, working and witnessing overseas.
• Apply solutions to overcome the main tensions which affect tentmakers.
• Analyze the best business fit for reaching the people group God is calling you to serve.

The cost for the workshop is $150 for individuals and $275 for couples. Frontiers field workers, appointees assigned to a team, and staff may attend free of charge. Prerequisite reading required.

Enrollment in this workshop is by invitation, but can be requested by those who plan to serve Christ overseas long-term with a business platform.
