Are you ready to identify, learn and practice skills that will enhance your effectiveness and your enjoyment of the people God has placed in your life? This is your invitation and opportunity to register for Sharpening Your Interpersonal Skills (SYIS), a workshop entirely focused on improving your daily interactions.
WHAT WILL I LEARN?
While the program schedule and content for each SYIS Workshop is planned around the individual needs assessments of its participants, elements of these general topics will be considered:
- Loving Listening
- Advice & Problem Solving
- Confronting
- Conflict Management
- Community
- Stress
- Suffering Loss
WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
Everyone who works with others knows there are day-to-day challenges inherent with personal interactions.
Sharpening Your Interpersonal Skills (SYIS) was developed specifically to enhance both the interpersonal skills and attitudes of Christian workers as they relate to people: family members, coworkers and friends...even those from other cultures.
Working and sharing in pairs, small groups and as a body, SYIS participants learn and then practice new interpersonal skills...an approach proven to maximize learning and retention.
WHEN?
- From 5:00 p.m., Sunday, May 6, beginning with dinner and an introductory session
- To 2:00 p.m., Friday, May 11 ~ following lunch
(Monday through Friday, dinner will be on your own.)
